Neighborhood

I love walking down the creek to the beach and the walkway to Sea Cliff Beach Pier and looking out at the Shipwreck. Love sitting outside at Cafe Rio and ordering the grilled artichoke. This area is pretty mellow and the ocean really is a marine sanctuary. I always see seals by the shore and dolphins frolicking about and certain times of the year loads of whales. Free admission to Sea World out there and with the birds and everything it's like something out of National Geographic at times.

Transit

Not too much public transportation. Some bus access, Uber and Lyft are available, bring your bike, great area for walking. It's best seen with a car especially if you want to check out all the local activity including kayaking, whale watching, hiking, wine tasting, sailing, Nisene State Park, Monterey, Carmel, Moss Landing, Cabrillo College, UC Santa Cruz, Downtown Santa Cruz, and the Beach Boardwalk.

Amazing spot!! Quick walk to the beach, grocery store is just down the road. Place was clean, cozy and well worth the stay if you need a comfortable place lay your head. Definitely would come back!

My son and his girlfriend loved their stay at Liz’ cottage. Very cute and well appointed and walkable to the beach and restaurants. It’s also dog friendly! They will be back!

Extremely pleasant stay as usual....Liz communicates very well with quick response time....\n\nThe place is cozy, quiet and well stocked with the essentials. My dog and I loved our stay at Liz’s place. Liz was very responsive during our stay and was quick to assist if I had any questions. I also accidentally forgot my coat and she made sure I got it back before I left. Liz’s place was very cozy and as described. It had all the necessary amenities for cooking, a refrigerator and central heating. The patio space was also very nice. The location is quite central and about 10-15 mins away from the 41st exit on the highway so it was super easy to get around. Would definitely recommend!

I always love staying at Liz's place. It is clean and cozy. And the private patio is very inviting. I just loved sitting out there, reading and drinking a cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, Liz's place is walking distance to a wonderful little local coffee shop and the BEACH!!! It is such a great location! I have stayed here multiple times before and will come again in the future!
