Neighborhood

I love walking down the creek to the beach and the walkway to Sea Cliff Beach Pier and looking out at the Shipwreck. Love sitting outside at Cafe Rio and ordering the grilled artichoke. This area is pretty mellow and the ocean really is a marine sanctuary. I always see seals by the shore and dolphins frolicking about and certain times of the year loads of whales. Free admission to Sea World out there and with the birds and everything it's like something out of National Geographic at times.

Transit

Not too much public transportation. Some bus access, Uber and Lyft are available, bring your bike, great area for walking. It's best seen with a car especially if you want to check out all the local activity including kayaking, whale watching, hiking, wine tasting, sailing, Nisene State Park, Monterey, Carmel, Moss Landing, Cabrillo College, UC Santa Cruz, Downtown Santa Cruz, and the Beach Boardwalk.

Liz was vey responsive and came right out when we had an issue with the Refrigerator. Come to find out it was not properly plugged in and as guest and because of the position of refrigerator we didn't want to pull it out and try to fix it. It was also nice that she had the dryer fixed in a timely fashion. We raised our kids in Soguel, Capitola area so we absolutely loved the location for our trip walking distance to our Ocean... Thanks

This is such a perfect little getaway place! The beach is a five minute walk away, the restaurants within walking distance are great, shopping is a short drive. Liz quickly gets back to you if you have any questions. I highly recommend this place!

The property was small but nice and cozy. It was great for me and my little fur-babies. It was just a bit challenging preparing food for my babies because the kitchen area was quite small. Otherwise, location was great. Very walkable to the beach.

My wife, our dog and I spent the weekend at Liz's place and loved it. The place has everything you need, and it was a lifesaver having the back yard for the dog. Super easy parking in front of the house, and the beach is right down the street. We enjoyed our stay and definitely are hoping to return. Thank you Liz!

Liz was so great. She was helpful and responsive to my questions. She was proactive in making sure all my needs were met and that the space did everything I needed it to. Short 2 walk block to the beach from her place. Pictures were accurate to the space.

I had a lovely stay in this cozy studio, made bigger by opening up to a private patio. The house is on a quiet one way street along the river with only a short walk to the beach where you can walk forever. Everything was sparkling and well thought out. I’m already looking forward to my next stay.
